A personal touch to building.

DuraBuild Construction was founded by Mike Bronkhorst in 2012. With over 15 years experience in the building industry Mike has extensive hands on experience, and invaluable business experience, dealing with hundreds of local clients. A personal touch, often lost among large building companies, Mike personally meets with clients offering his expert guidance before taking on a project.

Mike grew up in the wider Warkworth community, attending the local college and completing his apprenticeship in the region. Residing in Omaha with his wife and three children, Mike is a proud contributor to the local community. He employs local tradesman and uses local suppliers.

Hannah helps manage the DuraBuild crew and ensures the day to day operations and administration of DuraBuild run smoothly.

Foreman

One DuraBuild's original team members Dave is an integral member of the team. Dave helped DuraBuild to become the company that it is today. Completing his apprenticeship with DuraBuild, Dave is now an experienced Foreman.

Andy joined DuraBuild in 2013. Andy grew up in the Warkworth region, attending Mahurangi College. As one of the earlier employees of DuraBuild, Andy has completed a vast range of building types,

Steve
Steve

Foreman

Steve is one of the original crew members of DuraBuild, joining the company in 2012. Steve has a lot of experience on both commercial and residential building sites. In his down time, Steve enjoys getting out on the water for a fish.

Tom
Tom

Apprentice

Tom joined DuraBuild at the start of 2020 and is currently completing his apprenticeship. Tom previously worked locally as a linesman before switching to a career in building in 2017.

Lyle
Lyle

Foreman

Lyle moved back up to Warkworth to join DuraBuild in 2014. Originally from the area, Lyle has a solid background in construction and concreting. Lyle has taken to his role at DuraBuild extremely well and has worked his way up to a foreman role.

Dan

Apprentice

Dan came through the Mahurangi College gateway program. With impressive results, DuraBuild took Dan on as an apprentice at the beginning of 2020. Dan is a talented young builder with a promising future.

Foreman

Paul is a local qualified builder who joined the DuraBuild team in 2020. Paul grew up in the region and has completed a number of high end building projects throughout the area.

Tony

Apprentice

Tony joined DuraBuild in 2021 as a carpentry apprentice, Tony comes from a background in civil construction, is fit and hardworking. In his down time Tony enjoys playing rugby for the local team and working out in the gym, Tony is also a member of the Warkworth fire brigade.

Apprentice

Ethan is a talented young builder currently completing his apprenticeship. Ethan is born & bred local who is a keen rugby and touch player.
